SMPS Boston is pleased to have representatives from three major local institutions presenting in the Higher Ed Panel in January. Richard Yeager (Boston College; Assistant Director, Planning & Design, Capital Planning and Engineering), Richard Amsters (MIT; Director of Campus Planning, Engineering, and Construction for the Department of Facilities), and Clifford Resnick (Brown University; Director of Planning, Facilities Management) as our distinguished speakers. Please join us and learn more about what is on the horizon at each of these universities.

About Richard Yeager: Richard Yeager
Mr. Yeager is currently the Assistant Director of Planning and Design at Boston College and leads a design staff that oversees Boston College's physical campus of over 120 buildings. He is responsible for all Annual Capital projects on campus as well as plays a critical role in the Major projects, including architect selection and design oversight. He also played an integral role with the development of BC's recently completed Campus Master Plan.

In 2007, Mr. Yeager was appointed to be a Commissioner with the Boston Landmarks Commission for the City of Boston; the official agency responsible for the stewardship of Boston's historic buildings, places and neighborhoods. He has been a member of SCUP for over ten years, and has presented at numerous conferences in the past. Recently selected to the Association of University Architects, Mr. Yeager majored in architecture at the University of Virginia and received his Masters of Architecture at Yale University.

About Richard Amster: Richard Amster
